End of Group Stage Announcements

Hey all!
Congrats for surviving this long!
1. Thank you!
Firstly, I would like to acknowledge all the players who battled through 7 weeks of tough opponents and shit mappacks and did not manage to make a top 4 spot. Thanks so much for participating! Make sure you train hard and watch out for the next tournament!
2. Players who advanced to knockouts
The following players have advanced through to the knockout stages:
Group 1: Demon, James, M4ki, Nick
Group 2: Bazinga, Savier, Cell, Herrie
Group 3: Fatzilla, Andrew, Saq, Kukker
Group 4: Reg, Benek, Dedzik, Vasily
Group 5: Kiki, DivisionX, DK, D&A
Group 6: JaV, MderG, Uniwersal, Dragon
This is 24 players. The top 8 players (first in each group plus the two highest scoring 2nd place players) are Demon, Bazinga, Fatzilla, Reg, Kiki, JaV + James and DivisionX. These 8 players will skip the first week of the knockout stages.
For the remaining 16 players, the first knockout round will begin on the 6th of January (which is the Monday). The maps, opponents and game settings will be announced as per usual: the sunday before the match week (i.e. 5th of January). Please note that if you placed 2nd in your group, you will be facing someone who finished 4th in their group (and this could be a person from the same group). The remaining 8 players (six 3rd placed players + 2 4th placed players) will be facing each other randomly.
If you know that you will be on holiday, or for some other reason you are not able to play before the 12th of january (end of week 1 knockouts) please let me know ASAP so we can make alternative arrangements.
3. Minor league champion
We have a tie for minor league champion between Bazinga and Demon.
These two will have a battle this coming sunday, 15th December at 2000H on JaV's Cunt 1 server! They will be playing 4 maps + 1 decider!

4. Sub-tourney: Week 8
This week will be the final subtourney until the knockout stages begin!
The subtourney is on the 5 minor league final maps! So this week there are 5 chances to win!
